We care

Our objective is to conceive the best sustainable garment and our tags exemplify it well. It starts with the fact that all our garments our produced in small batches and limited edition as a way to cut overproduction. Thus all our garments are numbered in the inside care label. We pay a lot of attention only collaborating with nearby atelier with a proven record of ethic and craftsmanship. Our goal is always to build long-lasting partnerships and felt that writing down the name of the person who finished our garment was a way of saying thank you. The date of production is production is also written on the label, a sort of date of birth that goes along two empty spaces: the first and second owners initials and date of respective ownership. Two important milestones in the life of the garments, a signs to show that our products are designed to stay with you for years before being given, or sold.

Every piece is unique

Since its preppy style roots, the oxford shirt has come a long way. In Britain, youth subcultures and movements took on the button-down as part of their uniform. Hollywood a-listers like Paul Newman and Steve Mcqueen embraced the effortless elegance of oxford cloth too. Even former president John F. Kennedy knew how to wear one right.

Working with the best partner

Ribul was founded in 1943. It’s the oldest company of shirts and blouses in Portugal. The atelier has been founded by the grand father of Joao who has since taken the direction of the operation, always keeping in mind the values of high quality and craftsmanship that have been characterizing Ribul since its inception. Its facilities located in a typical Portuguese residence with beautiful azulejos in north of Portugal, were undergone with numerous improvements, taking into account the optimization of services, and improving the quality of working conditions. Joao and Ribul provide some of the most prestigious international brands such as Balmain, Officine Générale and Lanvin. Joao has kept helping us since we have first met in early 2021 and its an honor that our shirts are hand-manufactured at its facilities. Our lunches with his partner Fernao are always happy moments where we can share our views on the industry, the latest football games and his long-term dream of opening an hotel in the the Seychelles.

Have fun with your piece

Our Orange Smart Mark is activation service that is provided on all garments label. It allows us to create a digital, authentic, secure and augmented representation of our products opening a new channel of interactions and services with you. The use of these NFT*-backed garments can reduce fashion wastes, improve product provenance, enhance operational efficiencies, and open up endless possibilities in the virtual arena.
The relationship is permanent, secure, and anonymous thanks to blockchain** technology.

* A non-fungible token (NFT) is a record stored on a blockchain that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore not interchangeable.
** Blockchain stores information in batches called blocks. These blocks are linked together in a sequential way to form a continuous line. A chain of blocks. A blockchain. Each block is like a page of a ledger or a record book. It’s a shared, distributed, and immutable ledger that records the history of transactions starting with transaction number one. It establishes trust, accountability, and transparency.
