VERLAN X KOURTRAJMÉ LIMITED EDITION ÉDITION LIMITÉ T-SHIRT

FOR VERLAN, THIS COLLABORATION LAUNCHES THE START OF ITS "ART FOR ALL" PROGRAM. AN INITIATIVE THAT AIMS AT PROMOTING ART AND ITS ACCESSIBILITY VIA A SERIES OF NON-PROFIT COLLABORATIONS WITH INTERNATIONAL ARTISTS AND COLLECTIVES SUCH AS KOURTRAJMÉ, MARIE HAZARD AND CINGA SAMSON. 

FOR EACH PROJECT, VERLAN PROVIDES TO THE ARTIST/COLLECTIVE A BLANK T-SHIRT THAT ACTS AS BLANK CANVAS. THE ARTIST/COLLECTIVE TAKES OVER WITH ITS CREATIVITY AND BY SELECTING A CHARITY. THE T-SHIRT IS THEN EDITED IN LIMITED QUANTITY AND SOLD EXCLUSIVELY THROUGH THE VERLAN E-SHOP. ALL THE GENERATED PROFITS ARE DONATED TO THE CHARITY CHOSEN BY THE ARTIST. 

KOURTRAJMÉ, SLANG FOR "COURT MÉTRAGE" (SHORT FILM) IS A FRENCH NON-PROFIT ORGANISATION AND ARTIST COLLECTIVE WORKING IN AUDIOVISUAL MEDIA. CREATED IN 1994 BY KIM CHAPIRON, TOUMANI SANGARÉ AND ROMAIN GAVRAS, TODAY IT BRINGS TOGETHER 135 ACTIVE MEMBERS AND MULTIPLE AREAS OF ARTISTIC PRACTICE. 

THE KOURTRAJMÉ FILM SCHOOL WAS CREATED BY LADJ LY IN 2018. IN 2020, IT HAS BEEN FURTHER DEVELOPED BY LUDIVINE SAGNIER WITH THE OPENING OF THE ACTOR COURSE AND BY JR WITH THE OPENING ART AND IMAGE DEPARTMENT. THE LATTER, FOCUSING ON PHOTOGRAPHY, IS OPEN TO ARTISTS OF ALL BACKGROUNDS AND WORKING IN OTHER FORMS OF MEDIA, SUCH AS PAINTINGS, VIDEO, OR DRAWINGS. 

JR IS AN INTERNATIONALLY RENOWED, SELF-TAUGHT ARTIST. HAVING NEVER RECEIVED ANY TRAINING, HIS ARTISTIC OUTPUT COMES SOLELY FROM HIS IDEAS, THE DESIRE TO CREATE AND THE DETERMINATON TO BRING HIS WORKS TO LIFE.
