We care

Our objective is to conceive the best sustainable garment and our tags exemplify it well. It starts with the fact that all our garments our produced in small batches and limited edition as a way to cut overproduction. Thus all our garments are numbered in the inside care label. We pay a lot of attention only collaborating with nearby atelier with a proven record of ethic and craftsmanship. Our goal is always to build long-lasting partnerships and felt that writing down the name of the person who finished our garment was a way of saying thank you. The date of production is production is also written on the label, a sort of date of birth that goes along two empty spaces: the first and second owners initials and date of respective ownership. Two important milestones in the life of the garments, a signs to show that our products are designed to stay with you for years before being given, or sold.

The artist / the association

An artwork selected by Damien Kempf will be printed on the back of the t-shirts and will be followed by the quote “day 10 of quarantine”. This image is a representation of biblical female figure Vael, who killed the king of Canaan in her tent et thus freed the tribes of Israel from oppression. It is an offbeat commentary on the lockdown and the tensions that it inevitably creates within the household. But Vael’s heroic gesture also symbolizes the defeat of the oppressor, thereby echoing the recent feminist movements in the wake of me-too.
Lire et faire lire is a charitable program that aims at sharing the love of literature and reading across generations.
The idea is simple: have volunteers aged at least 50 come to schools and read stories aloud to small groups of children. These volunteers, many of whom retired, contribute to the education of students by sharing the passion for reading, encouraging little ones in expressing themselves in French, and enabling their personal and social development. In 1999, French writer Alexandre Jardin had the idea for an association that would bring together little ones and volunteers through the passion of reading.

Working with the best partner

Texmin is a factory based in Portugal near Porto. It’s been more than 30 years they are partnering with top brands including levis, a-cold-wall or Maison Kitsuné. Texmin was the first factory we met when we were visiting Portugal for the first time and the only that trusted in our project. We are everyday in contact with Raquel, whose in charge of us for more than two years, and Francisco, the owner of Texmin. With Francisco, we share the want of keeping things small and qualitative, being obsessed by details. That’s why he keeps his number of employees below twenty, that he keeps investing in new machinery or new facilities as to offer top level working conditions to his employees. Being the best always has been the goal of Francisco and Texmin, and we are thankful to have them on our side.

Have fun with your piece

Our Orange Smart Mark is activation service that is provided on all garments label. It allows us to create a digital, authentic, secure and augmented representation of our products opening a new channel of interactions and services with you. The use of these NFT*-backed garments can reduce fashion wastes, improve product provenance, enhance operational efficiencies, and open up endless possibilities in the virtual arena.
The relationship is permanent, secure, and anonymous thanks to blockchain** technology.

* A non-fungible token (NFT) is a record stored on a blockchain that certifies a digital asset to be unique and therefore not interchangeable.
** Blockchain stores information in batches called blocks. These blocks are linked together in a sequential way to form a continuous line. A chain of blocks. A blockchain. Each block is like a page of a ledger or a record book. It’s a shared, distributed, and immutable ledger that records the history of transactions starting with transaction number one. It establishes trust, accountability, and transparency.
