    About the artwork

Bourouissa’s work focuses on rituals of friendship,
explorations of otherness and the role images play in
distribution channels, investigations of the politics of
    representation and subjectivity.

This edition is linked to Bourouissa’s multi-faceted Si Di Kubi-exhibitions, concerts, and albums created in collaboration with musicians, photographers, and artists on themes related to language, gentrification, and economics.

Together, they collaborate on ongoing music compilations that directly challenge the neoliberal mechanisms behind music production, proposing a more collaborative and open approach to cultural ownership.

Each of the albums has a theme related to language,
gentrification and economics, and will be redistributed through informal circuits of production and exchange.
